As part of Derby Walking Festival, we are holding a Woofs & Walkies Charity Dog Walk on Sunday 19th May.
Woofs & Walkies Charity Dog Walk
The event will start at Pride Veterinary Centre, with registration from 9.30am and a walk start time of 10.30am.
The route will take you along the canal path towards Alvaston Park, circling back around to Pride Veterinary Centre.
We expect the walk to take between 1-2 hours to complete and will be signposted and marshalled throughout. The walk will be led by a trained walk leader.
All participants will receive a goody bag upon finishing.
Upon completion of the walk, you are invited to return to Pride Veterinary Centre for our Fun Day, with a variety of stalls and activities taking place, including:
- Bouncy castle
- Ice cream
- Wildlife Workshop
- Food
- Games

We ask for a suggested donation of £2.00 per dog for the walk, with all money raised being given to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
About Derby Walking Festival
The first ever Derby Walking Festival will be a celebration of walking and walks throughout the city of Derby, and will run from 18-26 May.
The festival is a Move More initiative of Derby City Council to encourage the people of Derby to walk around and get healthy.
