Meet Deborah Smith

Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Deb graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2001.
She spent her first three years at a small animal practice in Cheshire, where she spent a lot of time as a student, before joining Scarsdale Vets 12 years ago. She is predominantly based at Pride Veterinary Centre.
Deb really enjoys small animal surgery, but also spends a lot of time teaching the Nottingham University students and mentoring the new graduates on our graduate scheme.
Outside of work Deb enjoys family time spent with her husband and two daughters. They love nothing more than packing up the car and heading off for trips away. Whether its camping, glamping or staying in a hotel it usually involves the good old British seaside no matter what the weather!
