Meet Carolyn Baguley

MA VetMB CertAVP (Cattle) MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Cattle Health and Production
Farm Clinical Director

Carolyn graduated from Cambridge Vet School in 2005, and worked in a small animal practice in London for two years. She was then bitten by the travel bug, and moved to New Zealand to pursue her real interest – farm vetting. She spent the next three years learning to do things the Kiwi way in a rural, dairy-focused practice.

Carolyn has been with Scarsdale Vets since 2010, gaining her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2014, and is particularly interested in lameness, mastitis and infectious disease control. She is a trained Mobility Mentor for the AHDB Dairy Healthy Feet Programme, an AHDB Dairy Mastitis Control Plan deliverer, a BCVA Accredited Johne’s Veterinary Adviser and has BVDFree/BCVA certification. Carolyn became Farm Clinical Director in 202.

Carolyn is married to Andrew, a vicar, and they have three small daughters and two cats.  Most of her spare time these days is taken up by children and church life, but she occasionally manages to find time for some yoga, crochet or jogging to help her take it easy once in a while!
