Ashley graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2016. Since graduating, he has carried out day and out fo hours work with Ambivet as well as working as a locum veterinary surgeon. Whilst working as a locum at Pride Veterinary Centre, he decided to stay on as a full time vet, splitting his time between Pride Veterinary Centre and our Mickleover Practice.
His areas of clinical interest lie in Veterinary Ophthalmology. He is currently studying towards advanced practitioner status and is enrolled on the BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology. In addition to ophthalmology, Ashley also has interests in rabbit, rodent and ferret medicine and surgery, as well as enjoying the teaching and facilitating of learning of final year veterinary students on their rotation at Pride Veterinary Centre.
Outside of work, Ashley keeps tropical fish at home and has a Border Collie called Macy and a Jack Russel Chihuahua called Bruce.
