Meet Anna Harding
MA VetMB BSAVA PGCertSAOphthal BSAVA PGCertSAECC MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Anna graduated from The University of Cambridge in 2009. After spending 12 years working in various small animal practices and hospitals, Anna joined our first opinion team in January 2022. She is currently based at our Park Farm surgery until June 2022 when she will be involved in the exciting relaunch of our Alfreton site with fellow vet Alison Wise and nurse Isabel Lambourne.
Anna especially enjoys working with senior pets (she has three senior cats of her own called Winston, Tiger and Hugo) and has a particular interest in ophthalmology and feline medicine. She has been awarded the BSAVA Certificate in Ophthalmology in 2022 and has previously completed their Emergency and Critical Care Certificate in 2018. Anna has a soft spot for chickens after adopting her own ex-commercial hens and is always happy to see chicken patients at work. She has a passion for making veterinary visits as stress free as possible for all our patients and is looking forward to using her Fear Free training at our Alfreton surgery.
Outside of work Anna enjoys running, especially trail running in the Peak District, and also dabbles in road cycling and swimming (sometimes open water for a few weeks in the summer).
