Chantal has joined the friendly vet team at Springwood in Burton in January 2011. She graduated in Portugal in 2007 initially working in a small animal practice in Broga, Portugal where she stayed for two and a half years.
Chantal gained a post-graduation qualification in Internal medicine in Small Animals in Lisbon, lectured by several diplomate specialists from the UK. Internal Medicine is her main interest. In January 2010 Chantal came to the UK to do an internship for 12 months at VRCC – Veterinary Referral Centre for Oncology (Cancer) and Critical Care. Chantal will therefore be a great asset to our team at springwood particularly for sick medical cases in pets. We know sick pets can be distressing for the whole family so we hope that making sure our team are knowledgeable vets, with further training, like Chantal will be able to make these experiences easier for you.
Outside of work she enjoys being with her friends, going to the cinema and dancing. Welcome to the team Chantal!
