Our Farm practice provides the highest standard of veterinary care to farmers in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire & Birmingham.
The Scarsdale Vets Farm practice has existed as a distinct stand-alone unit for over 20 years.
The team consists of a vibrant mix of experienced vets with extensive knowledge, and younger members bringing the latest ideas and innovations.
In addition to this, the farm practice is the associate practice for the teaching of practical farm medicine and surgery for the Nottingham Veterinary School.
Because of this relationship we have senior members of the Nottingham Vet School farm animal team working on a regular basis in the practice and available for consultancy on any of our clients’ units.
The practice covers a wide area of the Midlands with farm units in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, and Warwickshire.
We offer the traditional farm veterinary 24 hour emergency cover for the usual calvings, lambings and ill animals in addition to a system of regular routine preventative health visits for the larger farmers.
We also offer beef herd and sheep flock health plans.
We offer all the services one would expect from a progressive farm animal practice with the addition of the expertise of Nottingham University Vet School. This enables the practice to offer individual animal and farm consultancy on all levels and for all problems.
