Help train your dog using kind, fair and effective methods. Dogs and owners are motivated to enjoy classes that are fun and successful.
Training a dog can be a very rewarding part of dog ownership and dog owners should always take a responsible view of dog training.
Every dog should learn to obey simple commands and it is irresponsible of dog owners if they do not do this. They are leaving their dogs behaviour to chance and could potentially put the dog in a dangerous situation.
Our training classes are fun and relaxed, and cover the basic commands including sit, come and stay, and also deal with behaviour in a range of situations like being outside, with other dogs etc.
We can also tackle bad behaviours, and if your dog does have any behaviour that concerns you then your trainer will be happy to discuss this and ways of changing that behaviour.
Our experienced staff are on hand to discuss your dog’s individual needs and offer advice on any additional training.
Our 4 week puppy training course is designed to help your puppy develop into a dog that is a pleasure to own. With assistance, you will acquire the skills that will enable you to take your dog anywhere and make the most of each adventure.
Based at our Markeaton practice, our puppy training course takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6.15pm until 7.15pm.
All puppy training sessions are currently held in our indoor riding school at our Markeaton Farm & Equine practice therefore, your puppy may get a little dirty. We do advise you to bring a towel with you to ensure your puppy is clean when travelling back home.
For those with special requirements such as rescue dogs or those with behaviour problems. Individual 4 week course and training assessment. Held at the Park Farm practice
Aimed at those owners with only one training issue i.e. recall, or pulling on the lead. Held at the Park Farm practice.
