We offer a full range of services for managing youngstock health in the beef herd.
Our onsite laboratory can be used in the investigation of calf scour outbreaks meaning that we can quickly find out what the problem may be and find the appropriate treatment.
We also have hospitalisation facilities which allow us to provide intensive care to the sick and dehydrated calf. This usually involves calves being put on a drip to help them replace the fluids which are lost through scouring.
We offer a full Calf Pneumonia investigation package, including the assessment of building ventilation via smoke bombs and calculating the appropriate stocking density based on the building dimensions and size of the animals.
We can also analyse which viruses the animals have been exposed through blood testing, and then create a vaccination protocol specific to your farm. We also provide treatment protocols for sick calves if required.
