Session 1: Defying Gravity
Wendy Furness discusses the structure and dynamics of the equine foot, changes that occur during laminitis and ways in which we can minimise damage.
Session 2: Could It Be Hormonal?
Jacqui Paton looks at the metabolic and endocrine diseases that predispose equines to laminitis and how they can be managed
Session 3: Food Glorious Food
Sophie Woolford will demonstrate weight estimation and body condition scoring, cover aspects of dietary management and feeding options for laminitis prone animals and strategies for weight loss.
