As a Small Animal Vet, you have a choice of working at one of our local practices, where we have links to the local community, allowing you to build a solid customer base, and case continuity. You can also work within the first opinion part of our referral hospital on Pride Park, where First Opinion cases benefit from the expertise of our referral team, developing your own skills and knowledge along the way. Of course, there are also opportunities to have a mix of both!
We see a wide range of cases and our clients value our expertise and the time we take to make sure they receive the best care possible. We are continuously evaluating and developing our team skills and providing opportunities they might not receive in smaller practices or within a corporate environment.
Whilst always professional and focused, the Vet team are supportive and dedicated to helping and learning from each other. No two days are the same.
In one of our standalone practices, our small animal vets can manage their cases, lead their team and follow their own clinical protocols. This allows our vets to expand their skill base and get real job satisfaction as they manage their cases from start to finish with a team who they support and nurture. We do not set clinical protocols outside of general good practice. This means our vets can adapt their practice to their way of working. Support and guidance is always on hand from one of the Partners or from within the business support team.
Our standalone practice roles allow our vets the opportunity to run and manage their own practice without the stress and worry of incurring significant debt. Remuneration is attractive and the best part of all is clients get to know the team and build really valuable, trusting relationships.
