There has been lots of exciting news on the equine team this week. First of all Heather Urquhart is back at work after breaking her ankle a few weeks ago. We are all pleased to have her back!
Last week Becki Lees found out she has passed her RCVS certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Medicine. Obtaining the RCVS certificates takes a huge amount of time, dedication and knowledge and we are delighted that Becki has achieved this. Areas inparticular that were examined include General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, Neurology and Opthalmology.
In additon last week Wendy Furness was made equine director for XLvets. XLVets is a group of 46 independently owned veterinary practices that work together with the aim of achieving excellence in practice. XLVets member practices are dedicated to providing a high quality, cost effective service to their clients, and to support long-term growth and future prosperity within the UK veterinary industry.
