On Wednesday 18th February we went for a unique journey of anatomical discovery as we explored the inner workings of your cows, using coloured paint on the outside to demonstrate what goes on inside!
Questions answered included: Ever wondered what really goes on inside your cows? How they fit together? Which bones break easily and why? Why the muscles and nerves get damaged so easily in downer cows? Where a LDA displaces from and to? Or why eating a wire can cause heart disease?
Well done to all who took part in our cow anatomy painting day yesterday – a fantastic day was had by everyone. The Overseal Holstein cows behaved impeccably!
