A heart-warming story…

Mr StripesWhen a tabby cat appeared, hungry and covered in frost at an industrial site in Kegworth, a kind hearted staff member took him in to warm him up and offered him a tasty meal.

He was bought in to our Shelton Lock practice to see if he had a microchip. He did!

Mr Stripes had been missing since Bonfire Night, last year. He had been missing for 13 months! His owner was delighted and took him home to be reunited with her 15 year old daughter, making this Christmas extra special for the family.

Please microchip your pets so that you have the best chance of being reunited with them should they get lost.

In 2013 the government announced that from 6th April 2016 all dogs in England would have to be microchipped.
