Sandy Jamieson qualified in 1987 from the Dick Vet in Edinburgh before joining a local Derby mixed  practice. This practice amalgamated with the then Taylor Thompstone and partners and hence Sandy ended up as a joint senior partner in the Scarsdale Veterinary Group.

Sandy has interests in all aspects of farm veterinary work but also has an active role in the equine side of the practice.

Sandy's hobbies are hill walking birdwatching and rugby internationals. He is married to one of the equine team Jacqui Paton.
