Education & Events

As a practice we strongly believe in ongoing education for our vets, nurses and support staff. We ensure that people are given ongoing training at conferences and seminars in this country and abroad if necessary to ensure that the most up to date thinking and skills are available here in the Midlands.

Once a member of the team goes on a course they ensure the important parts are shared with the rest of the team.

All of our clinical staff are involved with training the next generation of vets as we are a clincial associate practice of Nottingham University Veterinary School. In addtion some of our senior vets and nurses also provide training to other vets and nurses outside of the practice.

We also provide ongoing education for you the horse owner. Horse specific talks and training will be advertised in this section. When we have open days and evening talks you are welcome to view the practice behind the scenes - we don't have anything to hide! If you would like a talk given at your yard or riding club let us know and we will try to help. Most of all we want you to know we are approachable, not just when your horse is ill.

We often vet (or compete!) at equine competitions and events so if you see us do feel free to come along and have a chat and ask any questions in an informal setting.
