First of all a warm welcome to our practice. Our current clients described us in a survey as caring, friendly and professional and we hope we meet these expectations for you. The Scarsdale Veterinary Group Equine Unit provides the highest standard of veterinary care to horses and ponies in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

We see a full range of horses from sport horses to much loved geriatric ponies. We care about the horses that we see and we know how much they mean to you, their owners. We offer both an ambulatory service to see your horse at home as well as excellent inpatient facilities with state of the art veterinary equipment. We also offer a 24hour emergency service operated by our own equine veterinary team.

We have an experienced and dedicated equine veterinary team. In addition, some have further post-graduate equine qualifications. We are a clinicial associate practice of the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and as such have access to experts in the equine field. If your horse is admitted to the practice we have a trained equine nursing team to care for them.
